GENERAL INFORMATION

About Girls

Years of isolation from the rest of the world and the dominant male chauvinism at home have made Russian women very
submissive and docile. The persisting low standards of living in the current Russia maintain the low status situation for Russian
women. For a young Russian girl the main goal in life is to get married. If by the age of 24 she has not found a husband she will
be considered as having some defects. This pressure from the society, including her parents, to form a family starts from the age
of around 17-18. Once she has married she has to have children within a year or so to avoid rumours that she is infertile. It is,
however, the fact of marriage rather than having a family that really matters. Even the woman who married and almost
immediately divorced has much higher status than a woman of the same age who has never married.

The role of a Russian woman in a family is considered to be housekeeping and care of children. It is the man who is supposed
to be the breadwinner and therefore the boss.

Russians generally have a very liberal attitude towards sex. Many years of suppression of Christian ideology and principles and
the usual traditional values left a vacuum in the area of moral and sexual behaviour. As a result most Russian women are
promiscuous. Many girls believe that the only way to find a husband is to sleep with every man who is even slightly interested in
her. Most married women are not faithful to their husbands and have regular or casual relationships outside marriage. In many
cases however it is the husband who first starts cheating on his spouse and she will follow in response. Rape, although
considered a crime, happens often and is rarely punished because of indifference of police and the society on the whole. It is
also very common for an older man who has money or any relatively high position to have young mistresses.

Until a few years ago a foreigner was considered the best choice for a girl looking for a husband. After the fall of the
communism this high status of Western men has fallen somewhat as many Russian men prospered to the Western level.
Nevertheless any Western visitor to Russia will still enjoy a lot of attention from women of all ages.

Russian women generally don’t mind strangers and street acquaintances. You can smile and start conversation with a girl you
like practically anywhere, on the street, in public transport, nightclub, shop, etc.. However, you need to know at least some
Russian. Some girls speak basic English.

As far as physical appearance is concerned Russian women are less attractive than Western ones. Partly this is because of a
poor standard of medical service in the country and the absence of the ‘ gym work-out’ culture. Partly it is due to the Central
Asian genes introduced in Russian population during the occupation of Russia by Mongols during the 13-16th century.

However, there are still plenty of beauties around. And there is quite a variety of looks, from brunettes to pure blonds with blue
eyes.

In bed Russian women are not particularly different from any other Caucasian nationality. They are quite willing to do oral sex,
but not anal. Generally they are used to hard treatment by Russian men and may be a bit masochists. There is a fetish of force
and power in Russia, and many men say that if your girlfriend does not do what you want in bed you should give her a slap on
the face. After that she not only will do it but will even love you more. This is true in relation to some and is definitely true if you
deal with a Russian prostitute. They submit to force and respect powerful and strong men.

Security, safe sex, and other useful tips

Reports of crime against foreigners are on the rise. Try to be as inconspicuous as possible. Local police (‘militsia’) do not
speak English and are not helpful. The main problem is street crime. Be wary of groups of children who will distract your
attention and steal your belongings. Avoid walking alone at night. Do not leave your valuables in your hotel room.

When hiring a car check who’s in it. Don’t take risks with passengers. Stick to central areas in Moscow and do not venture
into the suburbs alone.

There have not been many AIDS cases reported in Russia. This does not mean that there are few HIV-positive people around.
The Russian health system is not in a very good shape and the official statistics should not be trusted. There certainly thousands
of cases reported every year of other sexual transmitted diseases, such as syphilis, gonorrhea, etc.. Always protect yourself
with condoms for straight and anal sex.

Street prostitutes will sometimes try to rob you. They may put some drugs into your drink and steal your valuables.

In Moscow water should be filtered or boiled, it's mandatory!

Girls can be paid in dollars or roubles. You will need roubles for most small expenses like transport, food, etc.

MOSCOW

Moscow is certainly not for the budget sex traveller. Prices on sex have skyrocketed since the perestroyka times and hotels
and restaurants are expensive. However, the city does offer a good choice of Caucasian hookers including blonds and plenty of
opportunities to find girlfriends. The good thing about those Russian pros which are controlled by pimps is that you can fuck
them hard in all holes since they are submissive and have no protection from the local police or their pimp.

The Moscow international airport Sheremetyevo-2 is about 20 km to the north of the city centre. There is a special airport bus
which leaves every 2 hr and costs about $1. Taxis are available but very expensive. You have to negotiate the fare before the
trip. Drivers ask from $50 to $100 for a trip to the city centre.

We recommend that you arrange a hotel transfer with your travel agent before travelling to Russia.

The best public transport in Moscow is the metro. You can recognize the entrance to its stations on the street by a big red
letter M. The metro is large, fast and efficient. Trains run 6am - 1am. The fare is $0.1 (2.5-3 rubles) to travel to any station
within the metro network.. In the metro buy a magnetic stripe ticket at the kassa, then drop it into the machine to enter train
platforms.

You will not see many taxis on the streets, however many private cars are available for hire. Just rise your hand standing by the
traffic lane and cars will stop. Tell the driver where you want to go and negotiate the price. You need to speak a bit of Russian
for this. As a rough guide expect to pay around $0.5-1 per km to nearby destinations during the day, and more at night.

Accommodation

We recommend to book your hotel accommodation in advance through a travel agent. Prices are among the highest in the
world and you will not get a good rate if you just walk into a hotel. It is OK to bring a girl to your hotel room if you pay for
double occupancy.

The best value in town is the huge Izmaylovo hotel complex. It is located near the metro station ‘Izmaylovski Park’ which is
only about 15 minutes train ride from the city centre. There are several restaurants and cafes in the complex. It has a popular
disco. Single/ double rooms are $54/61 per night.

The hotel Belgrade is a good value. It is near metro station ‘Smolenskaya’ just 5 minutes ride from the city centre. There is a
restaurant in the hotel but it is cheaper and more interesting to go to one of the nearby cafes or restaurants in Novi Arbat.
Singles/doubles are $68/88 per night.

The hotel Rossiya at 1 Moskvoretskaya naberzhnaya has over 3000 rooms. It is huge and rather ugly but overlooks the
Kremlin. There are several restaurants and cafes, and a basement disco. Singles/double are $104/138.

The hotel Intourist is right in the centre of nightlife action (see above), opposite Red Square. It has 540 pretty dismal rooms, a
restaurant and a bar. Singles/doubles are $110/140 per night.

The hotel Metropol at 1-4 Marx Prospekt is very ornate, opulent and expensive. There are 400 rooms at $344 single/double
per night.

Moskva is the closest hotel to Red Square. Double rooms here are $150. It also houses a few restaurants, bars and a casino.

Where to eat

There are plenty of restaurants in Moscow to satisfy different tastes. However most of them are very expensive and
pretentious. Here are a few which offer moderately priced menus and are tourist friendly.

Patio Pizza, Tverskaya street, 3, tel 9568362, Leninsky prospekt, 68/10, tel 9300815. Italian cuisine. Main course $13-20,
drinks $3.

El Rincon Espanol, Okhotny Ryad 2, Hotel Moskva, tel 2922893. Spanish cuisine. Main course around $15, salads $9, beer
$4.

Cafe Arba, Arbat street, near metro station Arbatskaya. Russian cuisine. Main course $5-7, drinks $2, beer $4.
